Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is one of three laboratories owned by the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). The majority of our work done for the NNSA is related to nuclear stockpile stewardship and nuclear nonproliferation.
LANL does additional work for the Department of Energy Office of Science, the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, the Intelligence Community, the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, and others.
We have cooperative research agreements with large and small corporations, and we regularly collaborate with laboratories and universities worldwide.
